We participated in Pitch Americas 2024 in Mexico City
The Pitch Americas event has established itself as an essential platform for the growth of entrepreneurs and startups across the Americas. In its third edition, held in Mexico, we had the honor of being an active part of this initiative that drives the most innovative and promising ideas in the region.
Carlos Aguirre, our founding partner, played a prominent role in this event as a speaker and judge, sharing his vast experience in law and entrepreneurship with the participants. His participation was key in evaluating the entrepreneurs' proposals and offering them a solid legal perspective to strengthen their projects.
Moreover, as part of our commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, we sponsored a $2,500 prize in intellectual property legal advice in Latin America for the third-place winner. This prize underscores our dedication to supporting startups in the protection and management of their intellectual assets, a crucial component for their success and growth in highly competitive markets.
What is Pitch Americas?
Pitch Americas, founded by Vela Wood and organized this year by Fashion Law Mx, is a prestigious competition that travels across the Americas in search of innovative ideas with the potential to transform industries. With the support of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Mexico, Pitch Americas has expanded its reach and impact, strengthening the entrepreneurial and technological ecosystem in the region.
In each edition, a different country hosts entrepreneurs, investors, and experts from various industries, creating a vibrant space for the exchange of ideas and opportunities. From its inception in the United States, to last year’s edition in Ecuador which we organized, and this year in 2024 in Mexico, Pitch Americas continues its mission to empower emerging talent and innovative solutions that are shaping the future of entrepreneurship in the Americas.
We are proud to have contributed to this event, which not only supports entrepreneurs but also promotes integration and economic development throughout the region.
