AIPPitch 2025: Driving Innovation Through Intellectual Property
On April 10th, the AIPPitch 2025 event was successfully held—an initiative organized by the AIPPI Ecuador National Group, led by Dr. Carlos Aguirre, partner at Aguirre Noboa Law Firm. Dr. Aguirre spearheaded this project with the goal of promoting entrepreneurship and the protection of intellectual property in Ecuador.
The event brought together a talented group of Ecuadorian entrepreneurs who presented innovative, early-stage projects that highlighted the strategic importance of intellectual property. Participants had the opportunity to pitch their ideas before a panel of experts, competing for pro bono legal advisory services to help secure trademarks, patents, copyrights, and other intellectual assets.
After a dynamic day full of creativity, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit, the winners of this edition were:
First place: VOID - 01
Second place: KCA Impermeabilizantes
Third place: Korima Rehab
Additionally, as a special acknowledgment of the high caliber of participants, Aguirre Noboa Law Firm awarded a fourth place prize, personally sponsored by the firm. This recognition was granted to the project Tierra de Hierbas, which stood out for its value proposition in the natural wellness space and its emphasis on protecting intangible assets.
This event marks an important milestone in the ongoing commitment of AIPPI Ecuador and Aguirre Noboa to strengthen the national entrepreneurial ecosystem by offering legal tools essential for turning ideas into protected, sustainable businesses.
